How can I switch to eight?

For existing redONE Mobile subscribers, all you have to do is visit any of our Partner Store or eight Service Centre, or switch via our redONE 1App:

  1. Log in to your redONE 1App.
  2. Fill in the required details and delivery address.
  3. Once your eight SIM card arrives by mail (it will be delivered to your letterbox), simply follow the instructions to activate your eight service.

Will I automatically join eight?

All you have to do is to make the switch to eight by heading down to any of our Partner Store or eight Service Centre, or via our redONE 1App. Join now to enjoy UPSIZED entitlements at the same price with eight – Telecom Company of the Year!

I want to switch to eight. How do I do that?

You can head down to any of our Partner Store or eight Service Centre, or switch via our redONE 1App today — our team will be happy to assist you with it.

Can I keep my number when I switch to eight?

Yes! You can keep your existing mobile number. All you have to do is to make the switch via our redONE 1App or visit any of our Partner Store or eight Service Centre, and we’ll handle the porting process immediately and seamlessly upon SIM activation.

What if I choose not to switch to eight?

Your redONE Mobile service will stay active for now. We recommend making the switch to eight as soon as possible to avoid service disruption on redONE Mobile.

Can I switch to another telco instead?

Yes, you can make the switch to any telco, but only eight – Telecom Company of the Year – can give you upgraded entitlements at the same price and FREE months!

I lost/damaged my redONE Mobile SIM card. What do I do?

Please head down to our redONE Sales Office for replacement.

Will my data offering be the same?

It’ll be even better! These exclusive plans with eight are built to give you bigger data, roaming and IDD bundles than your current plan. 

Will my monthly bill increase when I move to eight?

Don’t worry – you will continue to enjoy upsized plans at the same great price! More data, more value.

Will my current bill cycle with redONE Mobile be the same?

Yes, your bill cycle with redONE Mobile will remain the same until you have switched to eight.

Are there any upfront charges if I switch to eight?

There are no upfront charges at all! To sweeten the deal, you will enjoy up to 2 months of free service when you switch to eight.

Can I sign up for a different plan on eight?

Definitely! Once you’ve switched to eight, you can easily manage and swap your plan through eight’s app at any time.

SIM Card and Port-In

Will my plan be automatically upgraded to 5G?

It depends on the plan you choose with eight. Find the available options that best fit your needs at the top of this page.

Why do I need a new eight SIM card?

Since you’re switching to eight, you’ll need a new 5G-enabled SIM card* so you can enjoy better network speeds and upgraded entitlements with eight! Please note that 5G speeds are only available when you switch to our BEST18, BEST20, BEST28 and BEST38 plans.

What happens if I don’t switch to eight SIM card?

Your redONE Mobile service will stay active for now. However, we recommend making the switch as soon as possible to avoid service disruption on redONE Mobile.

What will happen to my in-advance / in-excess balance?

Don’t worry – your balance will be taken care of. Please reach out to our Careline for assistance.

General

1.1 These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern the migration of mobile services from redONE Pte Ltd (“redONE Mobile”) to StarHub and/or with its Affiliates.
1.2 By proceeding with the migration via the redONE 1App or any authorised channel, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
1.3 redONE Mobile and StarHub and/or with its Affiliates reserve the right to amend these Terms from time to time. Where such amendments materially affect subscribers’ rights or obligations, reasonable notice will be provided via official communication channels.

Eligibility for Migration

2.1 Migration is available only to active redONE Mobile subscribers in good standing.
2.2 Subscribers with outstanding payments, suspended accounts, or fraudulent activity will be restricted from the migration process.
2.3 Subscribers must ensure that all submitted information is accurate and complete.

2.4 Any delay or failure due to incorrect information provided will not be the responsibility of redONE Mobile or StarHub and/or with its Affiliates.

Migration Process to eight Telecom

3.1 Migration must be initiated via the redONE 1App, or by the authorised redONE Partners and eight Service Centres.
3.2 Subscribers are required to provide accurate personal and delivery details, select a preferred eight plan, and activate the eight SIM card upon receipt.

3.3 Once data consent has been provided, the subscriber’s data and mobile number(s) will be transferred accordingly. Subscribers will not be able to port out to another telecommunications provider for a period of fourteen (14) days thereafter.

redONE Mobile Exclusive: Migrate to eight and Get Up to 2 Months Free

4.1 Promotion is valid from 16 Apr 2026 00:00 till 31 May 2026 23:59.

4.2 Valid for all successful redONE port-ins (migration) only.

4.3 All 4G voice mobile plans will enjoy 1 month free.

4.4 All 5G voice mobile plans will enjoy 2 months free.

4.5 The free month(s) in the form of stacked plans will take up to 7 working days to be tagged to your mobile line upon successful port-in. redONE customers who migrated via the redONE 1APP will receive the free month from the first month. 

4.6 All eight’s Mobile Terms & Conditions apply, as listed in on this page. 

4.7 eight reserves the right to amend Terms & Conditions without prior notice.

Mobile Number Portability

5.1 Subscribers will retain their existing mobile number when migrating to eight.
5.2 Number porting is subject to successful SIM activation, no outstanding bills, and compliance with applicable regulatory requirements.

5.3 redONE Mobile and eight are not liable for delays caused by incomplete information or third-party systems.

Plans, Pricing & Promotions to eight Telecom

6.1 Migrated subscribers will be offered exclusive promotional plans by eight.
6.2 Promotional benefits, including free service months, are time-limited, non-transferable, and subject to eligibility criteria.

6.3 While efforts are made to maintain price parity, eight reserves the right to revise plans, pricing, and benefits at its discretion.

Billing & Charges

7.1 Upon successful migration, the subscriber will be charged the full monthly subscription amount for the final billing month, regardless of the port-out date within that month. For the avoidance of doubt, upon successful migration, the final billing charges will be calculated in accordance with redONE Mobile prevailing billing policy, which may include the full monthly subscription amount for the final billing cycle.
7.2 Subscribers remain responsible for any outstanding charges and all charges incurred prior to the completion of migration.

7.3 Failure to settle outstanding amounts may affect migration eligibility.

Refunds

8.1 The subscriber may contact redONE Mobile’s Careline to request a refund of any excess amount remaining in their account balance after the final bill has been deducted.

SIM Card & Device Compatibility

9.1 All redONE Mobile SIM card replacements (for lost or damaged SIM cards only) shall only be available at redONE Mobile HQ following the official announcement of closure.

9.2 A new eight physical SIM card is required to access eight’s network and services.

9.3 Subscribers who wish to convert their physical SIM card to an eSIM are required to visit an authorised eight retailer in person.

9.4 redONE Mobile and eight are not responsible for service issues due to incompatible devices.

Service Limitations & Liability

10.1 redONE Mobile and eight shall not be liable for any temporary service interruptions during migration, delays caused by third-party systems or logistics, or any loss of data, contacts or personal content. To the extent permitted by applicable law, redONE Mobile and eight shall not be liable for temporary service interruptions during migration, delays caused by third-party systems or logistics providers, or loss of locally stored handset data not controlled by redONE Mobile or eight.

Right to Switch to Other Telcos

11.1 Subscribers may choose to port their number to the preferred telecommunications provider at any time.
11.2 Such port-out requests are subject to full settlement of all outstanding charges and compliance with applicable regulatory and operational requirements.

Data Protection & Privacy

12.1 Upon consent, subscriber data will be shared between redONE Mobile and eight solely for the purpose of migration and service provision.
12.2 All personal data will be handled in accordance with applicable data protection laws, including Singapore’s PDPA.
12.3 By proceeding with migration, subscribers consent to such data processing.

Amendments & Final Rights

13.1 redONE Mobile and eight reserve the right to modify, suspend, or terminate the migration programme and to amend these Terms at any time.

13.2 In the event of disputes, the decision of redONE Mobile and eight shall be final, subject to applicable laws.

13.3 These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Singapore.
